We met at District Coffee in St. Cloud. Joan was seated in a booth being a nerd and reading The Little Prince...in Spanish. Josias, was outgoing and started a conversation about his mom---little did he know that the care he had for his mom was one of the first things that drew Joan toward him. A few moments later, he left with her number....and the rest is history!

From that chance encounter at a coffee shop, to high tides on California beaches, to crawdad hunting along the Sauk River, and many, many adventures with family, Joan and Josias found in each other joy, generosity, and a desire to become better humans together. They have both been blessed so much by the divine already, and are looking forward to growing old(er) hand in hand.
